COVID-19 Response and Procedures
Capital BMR’s policy on covid 19 is committed to safe worksites, and aligned with the recommendations of provincial Chief Medical Officers in each province we operate in (or something to that effect). Prior to work commencing on BMR construction sites, all contractors and employees have temperature readings taken and documented.
- Capital’s Team members are required to:
- Notify management if any members show cold like symptoms and practice mandatory isolation
- Wear PPE on-site
- Sanitize tools and equipment throughout the day
- Social distancing is practiced on site when interacting with team members and clients
- We are committed to limiting the interaction between Capital’s team and site personnel by:
- Adjusting operation times to accommodate COVID-19 precautions
- Where possible, and with Client approval, Schedule construction activities during the night
- Announcing Capital’s crew attendance 48 hours in advance before entering site (when applicable)
- Maintaining the same construction team cohort from demolition to project completion to limit the amount of interaction of outside individuals entering Capital’s construction area
