Our Story
Capital BMR was born after the Fort McMurray wildfire, where we helped locals rebuild so communities could return home and businesses could reopen. That experience deeply shaped our values. When we do construction, we understand it affects community, employees, and owners. That’s why we manage every project with schedule, quality, and cost top of mind so communities, employees, and owners all win when we hand it over.
In 2018, we partnered with Amana Electric, bringing in-house electrical and additional trades under one roof. This transformed us into a true full-service general contractor.
We have built a trusted presence across Western Canada from the Northwest Territories to Vancouver Island to Saskatchewan.
In 2023, we expanded into Southern California, delivering the same reliability, coordination, and full-service capabilities our clients have come to depend on in Canada.
Today, we specialize in rapid retail, QSR, and commercial rollouts and tenant improvements, often completed as 1–2 day jobs or full programs in under two weeks, while also providing mall maintenance.
We intentionally work at night whenever possible so we don’t interrupt sales or force closures, because we know every day of disruption carries real cost for the community, employees, and owners we serve.
We didn’t set out to become a full-service general contractor.
We evolved into one because our clients trusted us to adapt, grow, and deliver what they needed.
Our Vision
To be the most trusted full-service general contractor across Western Canada and the Western United States known for delivering projects that create real, lasting value for communities, employees, business owners, trusted brands and our own team and subcontractor partners.
Over the next five years Capital BMR will be the contractor brands want to grow with — boots on the ground, honest, transparent, and built to solve the job. We take that success into a larger footprint: the next city, the next province or state, the next country, and the next store. We grow with the clients we already serve and with new companies that bring real opportunity. Experience does not limit us. Experience is why we can go further. Our sub-partners grow with us so pricing, quality, and communication stay consistent from the first store to the next hundred.
Construction, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, abatement, maintenance, and restoration — one shop, easy to work with, and invested in the store and the community around it. When a brand grows, we grow with it. Near term we deepen Western Canada and stand up Southern California so one contractor covers both sides of the border. From there we go where our clients go.
